UTR paints mural in Stratford
As part of an Under the Radar event, twenty LOFT youth spent the weekend of June 19th and 20th in idyllic Stratford. Monforte Dairy commissioned UTR to paint their barn and silo in the LOFT's signature graffiti style. Accompanying the senior artists were four junior artists, who had earlier demonstrated their skill and potential at the Central Tech Graffiti Festival. While the senior artists took a more abstract approach to the barn, the junior artists demonstrated a solid, traditional graff style on the silo.

The event became quite a local spectacle, with people coming from all over the Stratford area to catch a glimpse of this unique urban-rural artistic collaboration. Several LOFT youth accompanied the artists, supporting the event with music, DJing, t-shirt sales, and engagement with local community members about the LOFT and UTR. Check out the Stratford Beacon Herald's article about the event.

And before we forget, we want to show some huge love to Ruth, the Monforte Dairy staff, and the people of Stratford for showing us unbelievable hospitality and respect the whole weekend!
