Capital Campaign Launch

On March 24th, 2011 the LOFT Youth Centre for Social Enterprise and Innovation(YCSEI) had their Capital Campaign Launch Party to kick-start their efforts to raise $950,000 to pay off their new building and complete the necessary renovations. LOFT YCSEI plans to host their three youth-led Social Enterprises from the new building at 850 Bloor Street West. These enterprises include Under the Radar, LOFT Sound Studio and the LOFT Kitchen/Boutique/Gallery.  LOFT YCSEI is set to be fully up and running by Septemeber 2011. LOFT YCSEI will provide youth with social supports, skills training, mentorship, resources, networking and employment opportunities through their programs. The Capital Capaign Launch Party gave attendees an indide look at the LOFT YCSEI's progress and their vision for the future, there was a mini-art gallery set-up brought to us by Under the Radar, live performances by LOFT Sound Studio,  and delicious food presented to us by the LOFT Kitchen.
