LOFT Dare to Dream
In 2008, LOFT Music recieved the generous support of the Provincial Centre for Excellence "Dare to Dream" program to raise awareneness about mental health amongst youth in Ontario.

At the LOFT, we consider stress as a mental health issue. We are not Many youth come to the LOFT to work in our Sound Studio to relieve the stresses of our lives, often struggling with a variety of issues including unemployment, immigration, relationships and other social pressures. Our studio offers the opportunity for youth to translate their stress into art and music and share it with their peers.
Originally, we created a song called "Dare to Dream" which represented why we believed we deserved this opportunity to create another CD.
LOFT Music Volume 1 - Track 8 - "Dare to Drea" featuring Obie, Breezy Boii, Most Hated, Yung Rem, Javid, Jusdel and Mimi
LOFT Music Volume 2 is dedicated to youth affected by mental health. Our goal is to encourage youth that are experiencing mental health-related symptoms, such as mania and depression, to seek support and to use music as a tool to help them deal with their circumstances.
Inside the CD, we have printed a poem written by Primo titled "I'm Sick" which addresses the issue of stigma and mental health, and difficulties we may experience in admitting we need to seek support for our mental condition.
