LOFT Mentorship
Mentorship is when someone who has been coming to the LOFT for a while gets paired up with someone who is new to the country and to the LOFT. This gives the newcomer someone to confide in, someone to answer their questions, especially if they are not yet comfortable asking questions in English. The LOFT is currently running a Mentorship program in conjunction with Salesforce.com Foundation where youth are gaining information and advice from Mentors established in the field of computer programming and business management.
