LOFT ARTERY Artists
ARTERY is a volunteer-based program consisting of senior artists and young artists in the Christie-Ossington community.
Here are profiles of the artists for the inaugural year of ARTERY at CONC:
Koltron 3000

Koltron 3000 is an emerging visual artist working with the ARTERY collective.
He is working hard to hone his skills as a graffiti artist and a photographer.
Through his work in the ARTERY program, ‘Tron has made major contributions to the production of three murals - each one pushing the boundaries of what people consider to be graffiti vs art.
Koltron has dreams of opening up his own clothing store and selling urban apparel in the city of Toronto.
Viviana Astudillo

Viviana Astudillo is an emerging artist from Toronto that has been painting murals across the city of Toronto.
Her work merges graffiti art and realism, and she is able to work in a variety of mediums, including air brush and aerosol paint.
Originally from Ecuador, Viviana is currently studying at the University of Toronto, and is working with the Christie Ossington Neighborhood Centre Graffiti Arts Program.
HIGHLIGHTS
-Created a Card for Hallmark: Hallmark & Toronto Star – Canada 2004
-Clothes design for “My Scene” doll: Toy maker Mattel- Canada 2003
-Drawing for University Textbook cover - Allyn and Bacon – Washington, USA 2002
-Children’s Art Exhibition – UNESCO - Czech Republic 2001
-1st Int’l Children’s Biennale–Ministry-Art & Culture-Cuenca, Ecuador 1998
Awards: the Governor General’s Award in Commemoration of the Persons Case, Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers, Rotary Youth Impact Award, CSI Community Builder Award, Artists of the New Millennium-USA, UNEP & FGPE-Japan. and the Canadian Youth Achievement Award
Wayzr

Wayzr has been writing for a few years, working magic with markers on paper and wood.
His work with the ARTERY collective includes two major murals and a Wayzr piece at the ARTERY Graf Fest in June 2007.
Wayzr continues to make solid work, designing t-shirts and distributing them in the West-End Toronto.
Daniela Lalo

Daniela has been volunteering with ARTERY to assist in the documentation of the project. She has been working with Tyler to create a documentary on graffiti artists in our city.
Tyler Guy
Tyler is a young writer in the city that has worked with ARTERY to improve his production skills as a mural painter.
He is working to create a documentary on graffiti art in Toronto at the LOFT.
The Zhou Dynasty
The Zhou brother (Eric, Justin and Darren) are a talented trio that worked with ARTERY to assist with promotions, graphic and web design.
Serena Nudel
Serena is the Art Director at St. Alban's Boys and Girls Club (Palmerston and Dupont). Her help with the ARTERY program has been instrumental in enabling artists to access the St. Alban's Art studio and to oragnize the ARTERY Graf Fest.
