LOFT BizAcademy 2009
Over the March Break, 12 high-school youth from the LOFT Youth Program partcipated in our 3rd Annual BizAcademy.
In collaboration with the Salesforce.com Foundation, CONC has enabled a dozen youth each year to engage in the development of social enterprises through the intensive 1-week program, which takes place in the heart of the financial district in Toronto (Salesforce.com Offices).

This year, the youth excelled throughout the program, showing impressive presentation and communication skills, innovative ideas for marketing and sales plans, as well as a passionate work ethic that will ensure they become future leaders in this great city.

Much appreciation to our program facilitator, Pramilla Ramdahani, who did another amazing job of organizing the program, facilitating workshops and setting up the youth for their BizChallenge - to develop a marketing and sales plan for the LOFT Youth Innovation Centre.
Also, we want to send our appreciation to Kimberly Hunt at Salesforce.com Foundation, for her tireless support of CONC and the LOFT, and for providing this opportunity to empower youth to use their vision to achieve sustainability in youth programming. The Salesforce.com employees played a huge role in mentoring the participants, so hats off to them as well!
We hope to organize our 4th BizAcademy as soon as possible. To get involved, please contact Javid at .
