LOFT Graffiti Mural Program
ARTISTS GRAFFITI
The Graffiti Mural program is a two month visual arts program for young artists aged 15-21. All applicants must be able to commit 8-10 hours a week (including Saturday from 10am-4pm). Successful applicants will collaborate with emerging graffiti and visual artists on murals in the Bloorcourt Neighborhood, build and expand thier skills in aerosol and latex painting, participate in a short graffiti film / documentary, and possibly showcase thier work publically.
FILM ARTISTS
The Graffiti Mural program is a two month visual arts program for young artists aged 15-21. This year, there will also be a video element, in which a short graffiti film / documentaray will be made, essentially tracking the mural process. All applicants must be able to commit 8-10 hrs a week (including Saturdays from 10am-4pm). Successful applicants will work with emerging film makers / producers to shoot and create the short film, build and expand thier skills both in the mural and film process, and possibly showcase thier work towards the end of the program.
Succesful film and art applicants will also be working very closley together for a common purpose.
