Over the past 6 months, 6 at-risk youth participated in the inaugural Service Canada-funded YSI program placing each of the youth in various programs at CONC (Drop-In, LOFT and NOOK).

The youth spent 30 hours a week over 6 months working in these programs, and attended employment skills training workshops for one day each week over that time period. The program came to a close with a lunch party for all those involved, including Board Member Kevin and ED Lynn Daly.

We would like to share our appreciation to Roy McCandlish, the Program Coordinator, for his tireless efforts in coordinating a successful program, particularly in the eyes of the participants. Also, to all the participants, who were rewarded with a certificate and a bonus for their efforts.
