Volunteer

Let’s collaborate to build our community.

Volunteering with the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre

Volunteers play a vital role across our agency. We work with community members from ages 5 to 105 in a range of programming settings, which means there are many ways to offer your time, talents and skills. Making a difference in the lives of others by volunteering with CONC can happen in many ways, from children’s programming and social entrepreneurship to health and wellness workshops and preparing and serving meals to the hundreds of participants we feed every day!

Please fill out the form below to begin the process. Volunteers may have to provide a vulnerable sector check and/or go through an interview process, depending on the nature of their role. Volunteers positions and needs can vary throughout the year. We thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre and will contact you with next steps as they become available.

I have no words to say thank you for Nook. You are amazing! Since when I arrive in Canada NOOK is being Kaique’s second family.

I like working at LOFT Kitchen because it’s taught me many valuable skills I can use later on in life. I learned how to use a knife properly, basic recipes, how to use my time more efficiently.

LOFT Youth

The heart of the neighborhood. A place that gives back to all members of the community.

Community Member

During the most difficult times of my life I was welcomed at CONC. I was provided with food and a safe environment as I look for housing and work. An appointment was scheduled to meet with staff from various programs to help access and determine my needs so that I can begin to get my life back together. Without their support this journey would have been much more difficult on my own.
