Let’s collaborate to build our community.

Volunteering with the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre

Volunteers play a vital role across our agency. We work with community members from ages 5 to 105 in a range of programming settings, which means there are many ways to offer your time, talents and skills. Making a difference in the lives of others by volunteering with CONC can happen in many ways, from children’s programming and social entrepreneurship to health and wellness workshops and preparing and serving meals to the hundreds of participants we feed every day!

Please fill out the form below to begin the process. Volunteers may have to provide a vulnerable sector check and/or go through an interview process, depending on the nature of their role. Volunteers positions and needs can vary throughout the year. We thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre and will contact you with next steps as they become available.

The Nook Program is a great asset for our children and those of the neighbouring schools. They facilitate both tutoring and mentoring for the children that participate by having great program leaders. The Nook Program also enhances our school and community relationships. They act as a resource, as well, for our staff, our parent communities and other community groups.

We at St. Raymond are very appreciative of this collaboration with the Nook Program. We have seen that this team effort fosters and promotes an active and meaningful role to the concept of school-community partnerships.

I like working at LOFT Kitchen because it’s taught me many valuable skills I can use later on in life. I learned how to use a knife properly, basic recipes, how to use my time more efficiently.

LOFT Youth

This place is superb! If I could only rate it more than 5 stars, I would totally give it the hundreds of stars it deserves. Hard working staff and amazing people all throughout. Honestly, the warmest and most welcoming setting there is in the community

When I first came to CONC I was at my lowest, I had lost everything and had no hope. Working with the Housing Team has been the best thing for me, they helped me to find housing and then I was able to find a job. I am very happy to have met the workers at CONC as they have helped me rebuild my life again.
